Geschichte und Gott - XV. Europäischer Kongress für Theologie (14.-18. September 2014 in Berlin)

[History and God The 15th European Congress for Theology in Berlin] The 15th European Congress for Theology took place from September 14 to 18 at the Humboldt University in Berlin and treated the topic 'History and God', with a focus on the theological interpretation of history. The present volume documents the plenary and section lectures. The articles concentrate on the religious and theological reconstruction of historicity as such, especially in view of the role of religion and church in the three European years of change 1914, 1939 and 1989. The title 'History and God' is leading scientific questioning to its limits: Is it possible and permissible after all to thematize the relationship between God and history in view of European history?
